And no–that’s not a typo. When the Olympics officially began with it’s grand opening this past Friday in London, Sir Paul McCartney (along with other performers that day) were paid $1.57 for their performance. Even though it was a small fee to make the Olympic contracts legally binding, doesn’t it seem like the fee would be $1.57 million? Or at least for Sir Paul McCartney? Goes to show that the Olympics are one hell of an event.<\/p>\n
